2024 UTME: JAMB fixes dates for sale, registration, examination

According to a statement signed by JAMB Public Communication Advisor (PAC), Dr Fabian Benjamin, the UTME application document will be on sale from 15th January to 26th February, 2024. The statement was issued to media on Wednesday.

The statement also revealed that the 2024 MOCK-UTME will hold on 7th March, 2024, while the main UTME will take place from 19th to 29th April, 2024.

Dr Benjamin said the dates were based on the series of recommendations emanating from a two-day Information Technology (IT) and Management Retreat held between 26th and 28th, November, 2023.

He advised candidates to print their examination slips as from 10th April, 2024, and to take note of other advisories issued by the Board in relation to the administration of the examination.

He also urged candidates to visit the Board’s website @www.jamb.gov.ng for any other information.

The UTME is a computer-based test that is used for admission into various tertiary institutions in Nigeria. It is one of the most competitive examinations in the country, with millions of candidates applying every year.
