“This is part of our efforts to develop education in the council area,” said Egunjobi. “This facility will boost the morale of our students and aid their performance in the examination.”

The state-of-the-art CBT Centre boasts a 275-capacity hall, complemented by a brand new 100 KVA Mikano generator and eight units of 2hp split air conditioners. Egunjobi highlighted that the center is equipped with all the standard facilities required for a seamless examination experience.

Proudly announcing its official approval by JAMB, Egunjobi declared Agege Local Government as the first council in the state to provide such a facility. He called on the residents to take ownership of the newly inaugurated center and ensure it serves its intended purpose effectively.

“We use this medium to call on the good people of the council area to embrace this center and ensure their children and wards, intending to sit for UTME, use the facility for registration with ease and comfort,” urged Egunjobi.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the 275-capacity JAMB CBT hall is situated at Agege Local Government Area Office C. This initiative is a commendable step forward in facilitating easier access to quality education and reducing the challenges faced by students in preparing for essential examinations.

The inauguration of the JAMB CBT Centre reflects the commitment of Agege Local Government to prioritize education, providing students with the necessary tools and resources to excel in their academic pursuits. As the first of its kind in the state, this initiative sets a benchmark for other local governments to emulate in promoting educational development and accessibility.
