BREAKING: JAMB Announces Commencement of 2024 UTME Registration

In preparation for the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially declared the commencement of the sales of application forms from January 15 to February 26, 2024.

This announcement follows the decisions made during a two-day information technology (IT) and management retreat held between November 26 and 28, 2023. The retreat, attended by key stakeholders, played a pivotal role in shaping the schedule for the upcoming UTME.

According to Dr. Fabian Benjamin, the Public Communication Advisor (PAC) for JAMB, the 2024 mock-UTME is scheduled to take place on March 7, 2024. The main examination is then set to unfold between April 19 and April 29, 2024.

In a press statement released yesterday, Dr. Benjamin conveyed important information for prospective candidates. He emphasized that candidates must print their examination slips starting from April 10, 2024. This step is crucial for participants to verify their exam details and venues.

Additionally, candidates are urged to take note of all dates provided by JAMB and adhere to any advisories issued by the board related to the administration of the examination. The statement underscores the importance of staying informed and recommends visiting the official JAMB website at www.jamb.gov.ng for any additional information.

With the sales of forms starting on January 15, candidates are encouraged to act promptly to secure their spots for the UTME. The process involves obtaining the application documents within the stipulated timeframe, ensuring eligibility criteria are met, and completing the registration process accurately.

As the academic community gears up for another round of UTME, the smooth execution of these scheduled events is vital for the success of the examination and the seamless transition of students into tertiary institutions across the country. Prospective candidates are advised to stay vigilant for any updates from JAMB and to make timely preparations for the upcoming examination period.
