Kano State is a state located in the Northern part of Nigeria. The capital is Kano. Created on May 27, 1967, from part of the Northern Region, Kano state borders Katsina State to the north-west, Jigawa State to the north-east, Bauchi State to the south-east and Kano State to the south-west.
Eligibility and Requirements
To qualify for the 2022 Kano State government Scholarship Award Scheme, applicants must;
1. Be Kano State indigene
2. Have Five (5) credit grades in WASC/GCE/SSCE including Maths, English and 3 other relevant subjects obtained in one sitting.
3. For undergraduate students, applicants must be full-time (100 LEVEL) degree students of the under-listed courses in Kano State (Federal University Dutse, Kano State College of Education, Kano State Polytechnic, National Open University of Nigeria).

How to Apply
To qualify for consideration, applicants MUST submit an application with the following information:
➢ Other Names.
➢ Functional E-mail address and phone number.
And Attach Scanned Copies of the Original:
➢ Admission letter into an institution with information on the course of study, year of entry and duration.
➢ SSCE/GCE O’Level Certificate.
➢ Evidence of State of Origin / Local Government.
➢ School ID card or National ID or Driver’s Licence or International passport.
