The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has advised candidates encountering registration problems to approach the desk officer at their designated registration venue before proceeding. This comes after a tweet from Muhammad Bappi (@mu_bappi) highlighted an issue where their registration details remained outdated despite receiving a confirmation message after sending a “QUERY” text.
Bappi’s tweet, which has garnered significant attention, reads: “@JAMBHQ Good day, I have sent the REQUERY text and received the confirmation message, but when I try to purchase a PIN, it still shows my old data.”
JAMB, through its official Twitter handle (@JAMBHQ), has responded by advising Bappi and others facing similar issues to visit their registration centers. By explaining the problem to the desk officer, candidates can ensure their information is updated and the registration process proceeds smoothly.
This clarification aims to address any confusion surrounding the registration process and streamline the experience for prospective students applying to Nigerian tertiary institutions.
